MEET THE TEAM

Courtney serves as the Managing Director of Human Capital. Courtney has over 12 years of Human Resources experience in multiple different industries, including retail, manufacturing, and oil and gas. During her tenure, she focused her time on becoming an innovative, strategic HR Business Partner by creating, implementing, and managing HR strategies, services, and programs to support organizational goals. Courtney’s most recent experience includes time at Rice Energy and Forms+Surfaces.

Courtney earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Employee Relations from Robert Morris University.

As the Managing Director of Marketing at Alpha Capital Partners, Lola is responsible for developing and managing Alpha’s multiple brands, corporate and property marketing strategies, and public relations for the firm.

Lola, a former process engineer in the consumer packaged goods industry, brings her extensive consumer-centric background to the Alpha Marketing team. She has worked at General Mills and led numerous cross-functional projects focused on consumer insights, cost-saving initiatives, and packaging development on iconic brands such as Betty Crocker, Yoplait, and Cascadian Farm. She also worked at Wholesome as the New Product Development Manager, where she led new product development and packaging sustainability initiatives.

Lola graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Chemical Engineering and has an MBA from the University of Houston.

Joseph joined Alpha Capital Partners as the Managing Director of Development in 2022. His primary responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of ground-up development, from site selection to handing the keys to property management, thereby transforming a potential opportunity into efficiently operating multi-family communities and investments.

Before joining Alpha Capital Partners, Joseph ran his own venture, GensEdifice, a commercial real estate, and construction management company. While most of Joseph’s work has been in ground-up development projects, he has nearly 25 years of experience in various product types and businesses within the construction and real estate industry. While his projects have been primarily concentrated in Pittsburgh of late, he has significant stints and professional networks in metro Atlanta and Florida.

He earned his degrees from the University of Florida (College of Design, Planning, and Construction) and Georgia State University (MBA). When away from the office, Joseph prioritizes spending time with his wife and four children and being actively involved in giving back to his community and church.

Marc serves as a Managing Director of Capital Markets and Strategy at Alpha Capital Partners overseeing capital markets, investor relations, and corporate development. He is also a member of Alpha’s Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Alpha, Marc held a variety of positions at Jefferies and BlackRock over a 13-year period. As a Senior Vice President within the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Jefferies, he marketed and executed a broad range of transactions, including over $4 billion in advisory assignments and $23 billion in capital markets transactions. Prior to Jefferies, Marc was a Vice President at BlackRock on an advisory team responsible for underwriting, risk assessment, and asset management functions involving over $150 billion in commercial real estate investments.

Marc received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.

As Alpha’s Controller, Dennis is responsible for all accounting, financial reporting, lender compliance, audit, tax, and financial controls. Dennis has over 15 years of experience as Controller and CFO of a privately held manufacturing company, where he was responsible for financial reporting, accounting, treasury, tax compliance, and risk management. He also has eight years of public accounting experience, including auditing, and business and personal taxation. Dennis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Penn State University and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1998.

JP Morgan, P.E. is the Director of Construction Management and a licensed Professional Engineer. He is responsible for pre-construction, construction management, and design-build projects for Alpha Capital Partners. JP joined Alpha in 2021 and brings over 25 years of experience in project management, acquisitions, entitlement, construction, and development.

Starting as a project manager, JP advanced through various construction management roles throughout his career, spanning multiple facets of real estate development. Before joining Alpha, JP served as a Senior Project Manager for Oxford Development. Prior to Oxford Development, JP was a Senior Real Estate Development Manager with Horizon Properties Group and oversaw the development of 8 new hotels around the Pittsburgh region.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering – Construction Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. JP enjoys the outdoors, including skiing and mountain biking and spending time with his wife and two sons in his free time.

Mark brings over ten years of facility management to the Alpha team. He works closely with the property and maintenance managers providing technical assistance as well as oversight of capital projects. Mark is a certified construction inspector. Before joining Alpha, Mark spent most of his career in the oil and gas industry and was the Facilities Construction Manager at Rice Energy. Mark enjoys quality time with his family and two dogs, traveling, and outdoor activities.
